I had a mixed experience at HQ Hostel Silom. The location was fantastic, really close to public transport, but various issues popped up that made my stay less enjoyable. The staff were friendly, but the atmosphere felt a bit unwelcoming to me due to some extra charges and hard beds.

The dorm beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep. I also found the pillows to be quite flat, and I had to use my own blanket since they charge for rentals.

The staff were generally friendly and helpful, but I felt that their approach was more about extracting money than providing good service. It's hard to feel welcome when you’re paying for every little thing, even water.

The location of the hostel was one of its standout features for me. It was right in downtown Bangkok, making it super convenient to access the BTS and other train lines, plus there were plenty of eateries and a night market nearby.

I had an awesome experience at HQ Hostel in Silom! The vibe is cozy, and the modern decor really makes you feel right at home.
